Mr. Dennis Dalwyn “D.D.” Suggs, Sr. age, 95 of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

D.D. was born on Wednesday, April 15, 1931, in Henderson, North Carolina, to the late Willie Suggs and the late Thelma Mangum Suggs. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bebe Ann Hicks Suggs and grandson, Nathan Suggs.

D.D. loved his wife, children and all of his grandkids very much. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed going to the mountains, to the beach, and riding around anywhere.

Dennis is survived by his children, Mike Suggs (Susan), Dennise Morgan (Jeff), Willie Suggs (Dana), Jeanean Brooks (Rusty), Debbie Harper (Ira); grandchildren, Sarah Suggs, Michael Suggs, Jeremy Welch, Reese Morgan, Andrea Morgan, Crystal Suggs, Nicole Suggs, Rin Suggs, Devon Whitt, Jarid Culberson, Alex DeMaio, Dylan Harper, Brannon Brooks, Morgan Collins; 17 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; step-children, Marsha Ann Sturgis, Mike Fink, Mark Fink; step-grandchildren, Shannon Sturgis, Brian Phillips, Josh Fink, Lacy Fink, Jonah Fink, Joseph Fink, Ashley Sutton, Magan Fink. Several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Dennis Dalwyn “D.D.” Suggs will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 167 US-41 Barnesville Georgia, with Reverend Audie Wells officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 70 Jefferson Street Newnan, Georgia 30263.
