Mrs. Dian Joyce Lachance, age 74, of Meansville passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Lachance was a homemaker and a member of the Saint Peter The Rock Catholic Church. She was formally of Keuka, NY but had made her home in Meansville for a number of years. Mrs. Lachance was the daughter of the late Mr. Richard Henry Packard and the late Mrs. Lillian Mary Wild Packard. Mrs. Lachance was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Wilfrid Ronald Lachance, and a grandson, Mr. Jason Lachance.

Mrs. Dian Joyce Lachance is survived by a daughter – Ms. Joy Lachance and her fiancé Mr. Mike Kendrick; a son – Mr. Richard ( & Barbara) Lachance; 2 sisters – Mrs. Carole (& Larry) Young, and Mrs. Gail (& John) Merriam; a grand daughter – Caitlin Barkley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dian Joyce Lachance will be conducted Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at 11 O'clock in The Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, August 30, 2010 from 6pm until 8pm.
