Mrs. Dolores Elizabeth Cook Sleman, age 65, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Dolores was born Friday, September 5, 1958, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Howell Lee "Nub" Cook and the late Margurite Elizabeth Taylor McLees. She was a big fan of the Alabama country music group and Dukes of Hazzard. Dolores enjoyed gardening, playing board games, and collecting frogs. She loved watching her daily soap operas and most of all, loved spending time with family and friends.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robbie Selman; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Lindsey Selman; daughter, Kelly Selman; grandchildren, Cayden Mitchell, Ryder Selman, Gabriel Blankenship, Juliette Blankenship; Rhett Selman; brothers, Jimmy and Bonnie Cook; Ronnie and Wanda Cook; several nieces and nephews; special fur babies, Bella and Snuggles.

A funeral service for Mrs. Dolores Selman will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Lonnie Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
