Mr. Donald Lee "Don" Brooks, Sr., age 76, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Don was born on Thursday, October 25, 1945, in Cedartown, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvie Lee Brooks.; stepfather, Q.A. "Gramps" Sheffield and mother, Gladys Cates Sheffield; daughter, Regina Knight; and 3 brothers. Don served in the United States Army. He enjoyed going to the mountains and eating at the Varsity. Most of all he loved spending time with his great-grandchildren.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rebecca Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Tiffany Brooks; grandchildren, Bethany Cuneio, Tim Cuneio, Stephanie Smith; great-grandchildren, Carson, Braylon, Abigail, Taylen, Brynlee, Ariella, and Haisley.

Funeral services for Mr. Don Brooks will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Sherell Memorial Chapel with Reverend David Clark officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, Georgia.
