Mr. Donald Leslie Weitzel, Sr., 81, of Milner passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Weitzel was born Monday, February 20, 1939 in Portland, OR to the late Victor Weitzel and the late Clara Lucille Hefke Weitzel. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shannan Weitzel Sasser. Donald served in the United States Navy for 9 years during Vietnam. After 30 years of driving an 18-wheeler truck, he retired from Roadway Express. Donald loved to hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Imogene Stewart Weitzel; son and family, Anthony B. Weitzel & Roxanne Weitzel (Tristen); daughter and family, Tammy Weitzel Guthrie & Johnny Guthrie (Clay, Clint, Cally & Neal Ward); two granddaughters from his deceased daughter, Shannan, Autumn & Josh Davis and Halie Sasser; 5 great-grandchildren; nephew, Victor Weitzel.
