Mrs. Doris (Dede) Ferguson Sims, Age 80 of Barnesville, GA formerly of Jonesboro, GA, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, October 21, 2010. Mrs. Sims was born in Sedalia, MO to the late Richard Guy and Ethel Hamilton Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel N. Sims, and daughter Melody Ann Sims. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Barnesville, for 30 years.

Survivors include; 3 daughters- Karen (& Paul) Robbins of McDonough, GA; Jenny (& Dr. Marc Mitchell of Madison MS; Rebecca (& David) Oxford of Barnesville, GA. Also surviving are 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; one sister; several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Doris (Dede) Ferguson will be conducted on Sunday October 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church of Barnesville, with the Pastor. Garth Forster and Pastor Chip Garrison officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday Evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
