Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hopkins Adamson age 73, of Barnesville passed away Thursday January 14, 2010 at a Monroe County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Adamson was born in DeKalb Co, Georgia but made her home here in Lamar County for a number of years. Mrs. Adamson was born to the late Mr. Curtis Dewitt Hopkins and the late Mrs. Dorothy Catherine Wright Hopkins. Mrs. Adamson was a retired Human Resources Clerk for Equifax.

Survivors include- Husband- Grady Adamson, Sr.- of Barnesville- Daughter- Cindy Kinsler (&Joe) of Covington- Sons- Joe Adamson, Sr. (&Cindy) of Fayetteville- Tim Adamson of Covington- Bill Adamson (& Debbie) -of Griffin- Sister- Hazel Suddeth (&Ronald) of Tucker- 5 Grandsons- 1 Great Grandchild.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hopkins Adamson will be held on Monday January 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will be in The Morrow Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 17, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Those who would like may visit the memorial page online and sign the guestbook at www.williamsfh.net
