Mrs. Dorothy Mae Cain, Age 81 of Barnesville passed away Sunday August 29, 2010 at a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. She was a native of Alabama but made her home here in Lamar County for a number of years.

Survivors include; Sons- Gregory Lee Cain- Alton Lee Cain Jr.; Daughters- Sandra Carpenter- Susan Hammock; Sisters- Mary (& Buddy) Jamison- Joanna (Gary) Jones- Shirley (& Frank) Thomas; 9 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Cain will be conducted on Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Banks officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until the service hour.
