Mrs. Dorothy Ann Ethridge Morgan, age 85, of Milner, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Morgan was a lifelong resident of Lamar County. Daughter of the late Mr. William Nolan Ethridge and the late Mrs. Maude Baird Ethridge, Mrs. Morgan was Retired as a Cutting Specialist from The William Carter Company, and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Barnesville.

Survivors include: Her Husband - Mr. Warner "Snap" Morgan of Milner ; Her Daughter - Mrs. Hilda Farmer (& her husband, Lawson) of Barnesville ; Her Brother - Mr. William "Billy" Ethridge of Griffin ; 2 Grandsons - Mark Farmer (& his wife, Lane) of Barnesville ; & Michael Farmer (& his wife, Jennive) of Naples, FL ; 1 Granddaughter - Karmen Chambless (& her husband, Clay) of Dalton ; & 6 Great Grandchildren - Morgan, Macy, Landon, Austin, Hardin, & Haddie. A Number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Morgan will be conducted Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 1:30pm in the First Baptist Church of Barnesville with Rev. Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
