Mrs. Dorothy Maxine Ertel Smith, age 67, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Ivan David Ertel and the late Mrs. Pauline Rebecca Starnes Ertel, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Thomas Smith. Mrs. Smith was a waitress at Huddle House. She loved her children & grandchildren as well as family gatherings.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter- Cheryl Ramirez (& Adrian) of Griffin; 2 Sons- Billy Coffland (& Jamie) and Kenny Coffland (& Kelly) of Jackson; 5 Grandchildren- Derek Montessori of Maine, Daren Montessori of Atlanta, Damion Coffland, Ryan Coffland, and Julia Coffland of Jackson; 1 Sister- Barbara Jean Crowe; 1 Brother- Paul Robinson; Companion- B.J. Smith; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Relatives also survive.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Dorothy Maxine Ertel Smith will be conducted Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1 O'clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2015 from 12 Noon until the service hour.
