Mr. Doyle Edward Chastain, age 87, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022.

Doyle was born on Thursday, January 24, 1935, in Stone Mountain, Georgia to the late Paul C. Chastain and the late Ruby Inez Crider Chastain. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister. Doyle enjoyed working on old cars.  He was a 50's hotrodder.

Doyle is survived by his wife of 67 ½ years, Carolyn Chastain; children and spouses, Ronald Doyle and Rhonda Chastain, Daniel Bryan and Susan Chastain, Benjamin Todd Chastain, Andrew Page and Lavetta Maria Chastain; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; half-brother, Paul Chastain; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Mr. Doyle Chastain will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brady Howard officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
