Obituary

Mr. Earl Blaine Dunlap, age 42, of Barnesville passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. Born in Spalding County, Mr. Dunlap had made his home in Lamar County for a short time. He made his career in the Trucking Industry as a Terminal Manager, and as a Communications Consultant. Mr. Dunlap was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Rock Springs Church.


Survivors include: His wife - Denise Dunlap of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Morgan Dunlap of Roscoe, IL ; 1 Step-Daughter - Alyssa Woodby of Barnesville ; 1 Step-Son - Trey Corley of Tennessee ; 2 Grandchildren - Kiley Corley & Carter Corley, both of Tennessee ; Mother - Deidra (& Greg) Arends of Sugar Grove, IL ; Father - Earl L. (& Susan) Dunlap of Effingham, IL ; 1 Brother - Matthew Brent (& Ashley) Dunlap of Louisville, KY ; 2 Nieces - Sara Louise Dunlap & Madison Marie Dunlap ; 1 Nephew - Austin Brent Dunlap ; Maternal Grandparents - Marion & Colleen White, Sr. of Forsyth ; Aunts & Uncles - Cyree White of Stockbridge ; Lewis & Linda White, Jr. of Milner ; Michelle Smith of Forsyth ; & Jim Dunlap of East Lansing, MI ; & Numerous other relatives.


Funeral Services for Mr. Earl Blaine Dunlap will be conducted Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel at Rock Springs Church. Interment will follow in The Rock Springs Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening (11-2-10) from 6pm until 8pm.
