Mr. Edgar Quintan White, age 65, of Conyers, Georgia, passed away on

Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Edgar was born on Tuesday, August 23, 1960, in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Mr. Corry White and Mrs. Vera Elizabeth Denton White.

Edgar graduated from Lamar County Comprehensive High School in 1978. He then continued his education at Griffin Technical School where he received a degree in computer-assisted drafting. He worked as a draftsman over 35 years until he retired in 2023.

Edgar liked to spend time researching his family history, traveling around the world and vacationing at the beach. He was an avid photographer and a great cook. The thing he enjoyed the most was spending time with his siblings and their families and other relatives and friends. He had a kind, generous heart and he loved to give thoughtful gifts or words of encouragement to brighten someone’s day.

Most of all Edgar loved the Lord Jesus and looked forward to His soon return.

Edgar is survived by his brother, Corry L. White (Betty); sisters, Kathy Vaughn (Danny Ray), Debra Winters; nieces and nephews, Dianna Coffey, Stephanie White, Brian White, Natalie White, Charles Wyatt, Tiffany Guy, Allison Bankston, Daniel Vaughn, Gene Winters, Tommy Winters, Crystal Winters, and other great nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Edgar Quintan White will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home, with Murray Guy officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
