Mrs. Edith Faye Hand Hall, age 87, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Edith was born on Sunday, November 27, 1938, in Fayetteville, Georgia to the late Julian Cecil Hand and the late Alberta Huckabee Hand. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Hall Sr; son, Mark Hall; brothers, Cecil Hand and David Hand. Edith was a wonderful mother. She was selfless and always a caring person. Most of all she loved her family.

Edith is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John H. Hall Jr. (Michelle); Shawn Hall (Ceason); grandchildren, Blake Hall (Monica), Lauren Hall, Burkley Hall, Brynnly Hall; great-grandchild, Emerson Hall; sisters, Louise Ogletree, Mary Daniel, Connie Hand; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A funeral service for Mrs. Edith Hall will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
