Ms. Edna Grace Hobbs Tingle Wilson, age 82, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Edna was born on Thursday, April 10, 1941, in Decatur, Georgia to the late John William Hobbs and the late Nora Mae Wilder Hobbs. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianne Tingle Faulkner; father of her children, James Wallace Tingle; siblings, Ruth Satterfield, Betty Jackson, Janie Rosser, Johnny Hobbs, Irene Martin, Talmadge Hobbs, and Jimmy Hobbs. She was a member of East Griffin Holiness Tabernacle and was heavily involved with her church. Edna retired from Encompass Group in McDonough, Georgia and was a hard worker. She collected dolls, loved to shop and bake, and especially loved going to the mountains.

Edna is survived by her children and spouses, James Robin Tingle, Donna Tingle Van Cleave and Skip, Denise Tingle Fabrizio, Bobby Eugene Tingle, David Keith Tingle and Lucinda; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Charles Hammontree; brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Fannie Mae Hobbs; special friend, Bill Weir, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Ms. Edna Wilson will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 P.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
