Edward Leslie Price, Jr., 63 of Meansville, Georgia, passed away quietly at his home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

Mr. Price was born in Atlanta, Georgia, February 4, 1959 to Edward L. Price, Sr. and Vernie L. Price. He spent his early years at Lake Vern in Upson County, moving as an adult to Pike County. He worked in the mechanical field and was affectionately called "King of the Machine". He was a father, son, brother, uncle, PawPaw, and best friend, and was always there for those who needed him, often going above and beyond the call of duty. He never met a stranger.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, his oldest brother, Phillip L. Price, nieces, Tara and Corrie Price, and brother-in-law, Paul Coleman.

Survivors include: his son, David (Les) Price and David's mother, Judy Hammond; his "precious", Cindy Selph; four granddaughters, Taylor, Kelsey, Sara, Caitlyn;  and one grandson, Hunter; four siblings, Colonel Spencer T. Price and wife Erin, Dona Price Coleman, Theda Price Khan, Teresa Price Batts and husband Bill; brother-in-law, Tariq M. Khan; sister-in-law, Pam Price, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Edward Leslie Price, Jr. will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Colonel Spencer T. Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M.

His final resting place will be in the care of his son who will continue his father's legacy as a problem-solving, skilled technician and the mechanical field.
