Mr. Edward Mitchell "Eddie" Trimble, age 53, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Wellstar Sylvan Grove Hospital. He was born on Sunday, February 24, 1963 to James F. "Jim" Trimble and the late Carolee Mitchell Trimble. Eddie was a correctional officer at the GDCP and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Eddie loved the Jackson Red Devils, the Atlanta Braves, and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Anita Herrington Trimble; children, Hannah Trimble, Kevin Trimble, Heather Wise, Johnny Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren, Aleayah and Khamron Wise and Branson and Fantasia Johnson; father, Jim Trimble; brothers, James A. Trimble, Daniel Glen Trimble; sister-in-law, Carol Ann Trimble; nephews, Jay, Alex, Matt, Meadow and Colton Trimble.

Memorial services for Eddie Trimble will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2016 at The First Baptist Church of Jackson with Pastor Keith Joseph officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to the First Baptist Church Honduras Mission Trip, 1227 W. Third Street, Jackson, GA 30233.
