Mrs. Eleanor Kate Brown, age 81, of Thomaston, GA passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston.

Kate was born on Saturday, March 5, 1938 to the late Charlie B. Barrett and the late Florence Evelyn Phillips Barrett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Julius Brown; sons, Randall Fleming and Robert Fleming; sisters, Mary Barrett, Betty Purvis, and Evelyn Helms. Kate was a member of Zions Chapel Methodist Church.

Kate is survived by her children and daughter-in-law, Teresa Becham, Marsha Posey, and Marti & Jennifer Rogers; grandchildren, Jason & Karla Fleming, Melissa & Joe Fields, James Becham & Libby Morgan, Jessica Mactaggart, Matthew Lundy, Michael Fleming, Amber Fleming, Heather Fleming, Kennedy Grace Rogers, and Jackson Joel Rogers; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
