Eleanor Burrell Trotter, age 74, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 after a valiant battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was the third generation of women on her maternal side to succumb to this type of cancer. Eleanor was born May 29, 1940 to the late Floy Juhan Burrell and the late Fred L. Burrell. Three of her brothers, Floyd Burrell, Winfred Burrell, and Ricky Burrell precede her in death. Three sons, Tracy Swafford, Stacy Swafford, and Bret Swafford also predecease her.

Survivors of Eleanor Trotter include her husband, George W. Trotter of Jackson, Georgia; her children, Suzy (Rick) Ostapower of Newnan, Georgia and Bart Swafford of Sunnyside, Georgia; grandchildren, McKenzie Akers, Devon Ostapower, and Chance Swafford; great-grandchildren, Matthew Milnor and Elizabeth Swafford. Eleanor is also survived by her brothers, Basil (Eleanor) Burrell, Harold (Wanda) Burrell, and Bill Burrell. There are also many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Eleanor will be cremated, and there will be a grave side memorial service at Saturday, October 25, 2014 with interment of her ashes at Melwood Cemetery in Clarkston, Georgia.
