Mrs. Elizabeth Chaffin Foster, age 94, of Barnesville Ga. passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 in a Lamar County Healthcare facility. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Alonza Colquitt Chaffin and the late Mrs. Kate Evelyn Gillespie Chaffin. Mrs. Foster was also preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. John Grady Foster. Mrs. Foster was retired from the William Carter Company. She was Member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville for many years and a member of the Lydia Sunday School class.

Survivors include: Sister – Sara Ingram of Tucker Ga.; Sister in law – Evelyn Foster of McDonough; A number of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Chaffin Foster will be held Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Barnesville with the Reverend Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in the McDonough City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 2p.m. to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Barnesville, 201 Zebulon Street, Barnesville, Ga. 30204
