Small reception to follow service.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Hart King, age 83, of Roselle Park, New Jersey, on August 12, 2026. Born Elizabeth Nolan in Bayonne, New Jersey, on September 26, 1942, Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of Vincent Thomas Nolan and Constance Hart Nolan. She was previously married to John O’Connor and later to Dennis King.
Elizabeth was known for her intelligence, humor, quick jokes, and fun-loving spirit. She built a career first owning a flower shop and later in corporate sales. She brought her warmth and creativity to the people around her. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, and reading.
Above all, Elizabeth will be remembered for her service to others and her remarkable hospitality. A volunteer with the Roselle Park First Aid Squad, she consistently put the care and needs of others ahead of her own.
She is survived by her children, John King, Linda King Kohl with her spouse Tim Kohl, Casey King, and Corey King; granddaughter, Cadance Kohl; sister, Pat Wysocki; and the many relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
A funeral service will be held at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park on September 26, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., followed by a small reception.
Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.westburyfuneralhomes.com.
Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home, 212 E. College Street, Jackson, GA, is honored to serve the King family.
