Mr. Ellis Spencer Burch, age 77, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his residence. A native of Coffee County, Mr. Burch had made his home in Barnesville for a number of years. He was Retired as an Officer from Norfolk Southern Railways, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years – Bennie Burch of Barnesville ; 1 Son – Clay Burch of Barnesville ; 1 Daughter – Aleasha Burch of Barnesville ; His future son-in-law – Matt Daniel of Barnesville ; 1 Brother – Leon Burch (& Alene) of Douglas ; 1 Sister – Dewilda Wood of Griffin ; 2 Brothers-in-law – Wayne Pierce (& Dianne) of Loganville, and Troy Pierce, Jr. (& Dee) of Sautee, GA ; a number of nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog – Buddy.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ellis Burch will be conducted Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 1pm until 2:30pm, immediately prior to the service.
