Mr. Elwood Emory Watkins, age 95, of Jackson, GA, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Autumn Village II. He was born on Thursday, August 19, 1920 in Monroe, GA to the late Walter Emory Watkins and the late Nannie Ray Watkins. Mr. Watkins served in the United States Army from 1941 until 1946. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia James Watkins.

Mr. Watkins is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Joel Fincher; nieces, Linda Rooks and Marsha Knight; nephews, Bill Pelt and Don Pelt; several great nieces and nephews.
