God called Emily "Nuke" Murray Grier, age 65, home on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 9:04pm. Ms. Emily was a lifelong resident of Lamar County, and was the daughter of the late Mr. Russell Murray and the late Mrs. Gaynell Bethune Murray.

Ms. Emily was a loyal friend, a loving mother, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She worked for over 20 years at The William Carter Company in Barnesville.

She was survived by her Son, Jonathan Grier, and Daughter, Rebekah (& Glen) Uebler ; her two brothers & sister-in-law, Tim (& Angela) Murray and William Murray ; four grandchildren, Cassedy "K.C." Grier, Justin Grier, Courtney Grier, and Collin Finch.

A Celebration of Ms. Emily's life will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2 O'Clock at the home of Rebekah Uebler. A Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 2 O'Clock in the Antioch Baptist Church, at 2269 Yatesville-Barnesville Road.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, that Memorial Contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, or to your local church.
