Mr. Eugene Speer, age 81, of Milner passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 14, 1932 in Shady Dale. Mr. Speer retired from Sherwin-Williams Paint Store as a Credit Manager. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his Wife- Wilma Speer: 1 Brother- Hulon Speer: 1 Son- Greg Speer: 2 Granddaughters- Cassie Chaffin and Renee Turner: 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Eugene Speer will be conducted Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11 O'clock in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Reverend Lawrence Burge officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Williams Funeral Home.
