Mrs. Evalyn Roberts, 77, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Christian Ministries Hospice in Griffin. Mrs. Roberts was born March 7, 1932 in Boone, NC, daughter of the late Dallas and Violet Richardson Hartley.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Roberts Sr. of Barnesville; children, Ron and Laura Roberts of Melbourne, FL, Anita Coleman of Greenwood, LA, Roy Roberts Jr. of LaBelle, FL, Cathy and John Dorner of Cedar Mountain, NC, Charles and Susan Roberts of Milner, and Timothy Roberts of Barnesville; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin Hartley of Bailey, NC; sisters, Zella Nadine McKenzie of LaGrange, Shirley Lewis of Kernersville, NC, and Latina Knapp of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Hartley.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 Thursday in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Callaway officiating. Interment will be at Lamar Memory Gardens. The will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 until time of service.
