Mrs. Evelyn "Marie" Bishop Maxwell, age 65, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Edward Bishop and the late Mrs. Delores Faye Nelson Bishop. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Smith. Mrs. Maxwell was a home maker, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her Husband- Danny Maxwell; Daughter- Amy Hamby (& Franklin); Son- Jamie Maxwell (& Elizabeth); 7 Grandchildren- Destin Maxwell, Katie Bush, Jaiden Maxwell, Jayla Maxwell, Kaidence Maxwell, Kyla Maxwell, and Peyton Maxwell; Sister- Sandra Dobek; 2 Brothers- Freddy Bishop (& Stacey), and Billy Bishop; 8 Nieces & Nephews- Christy Smith, April Hinton, Michael Bishop, Karen Smith, Teresa Smith, Felicia Smith, Laura McKay, and Jennifer Huddleston; 10 Great Nieces & Nephews; 2 Great Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn Maxwell will be conducted on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2 O' Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm.
