Exie Jewell Turner, age 81, of Milner, GA died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 6, 1929 in Forsyth, GA daughter of the late William Miles and Kittie Lizzie Dumas English. She loved her family very much and enjoyed sewing, shopping, gardening and cooking. Mrs. Turner is survived by 4 daughters and son-in-law, Jean Turner, of Milner, Kitty Gilbert, of London, KY, Lynn and Charles Kelley, of Jackson, Maxine Turner, of Milner; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Shirley Turner, of Jefferson, Ken and Teresa Turner, of Covington; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter (Shorty) Turner; daughter, Dianna Turner; and 3 grandchildren, Jimmy Gilbert, Rhonda Ray, and Terry Mazer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Rock Springs Methodist Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
