Mrs. Frances McDonald, age 93, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was born on Sunday, March 5, 1933, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Lossie Mahaffey and Ruby McNelley. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton McDonald, daughters, Donna Stokes, Sharon McDonald; son, Russell Cranin, Jr. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. She was a member at Heritage Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her son, Barry McDonald (Karrie); daughter, Rhonda Morris; brother, Thomas Mahaffey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances McDonald will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Heritage Baptist Church, Locust Grove, Ga. with Pastor Terrell Hopkins officiating. Friends may visit the family on Friday evening, June 12, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home.
