Mr. Frederick "Fred" Morgan Ghostlaw, age 76, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Fred was born on Monday, November 25, 1946, in Toccoa, Georgia to the late Frederick Wayne Ghostlaw and the late Georgia Lee Burrus Ghostlaw. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Ghostlaw; and sister, Wanda Ghostlaw Wessell. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War.  Fred was a member of Cedar Rock Church and enjoyed twigging and digging, and cutting grass.

Fred is survived by his wife, Sharna Ghostlaw; children, Kimberly and Shannon Haynes, Michael Hendrix; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, David Wessell; several nieces and cousins.

A funeral service for Mr. Fred Ghostlaw will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Chaplain Justin Culbertson officiating. Interment will follow at the Ghostlaw Family Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
