Mrs. Glenda Doris Knott, age 64, of Jackson, GA, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Vitas Hospice in Stockbridge. She was born August 16, 1946 in Blue Ridge, GA, daughter of the late Harold and Leslie Hensen Panter. Mrs. Knott was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, sewing, crafts, and loved her family very much. Mrs. Doris Knott is survived by her husband, Tommy Knott, of Jackson; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Adam and Mary Ledford, of Jackson, and J.T. Knott, of NC; daughter, Tammy Knott, of NE; 4 grandchildren; sister, Dana Worley, of TN; special cousin, Marilyn Maschas, of Lawrenceville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracey Ledford. Memorial services for Mrs. Doris Knott will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, May 22nd at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Jett officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 23rd at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge. The family will accept flowers or donations toward final expenses.
