Mr. Gary Thomas “Tommy” Brown, Jr., age 56, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026.

Tommy was born on Wednesday, December 11, 1969, in Haleyville, Alabama to Gary Thomas Brown, Sr. and Towana Adair Brown. He worked for the City of McDonough as the storm water manager and attended Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Hampton. Tommy was a real outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and especially campfires. He loved his family deeply and will be truly missed

Tommy is survived by his daughters and spouses, Jordan and Nicole Brown, Kelsey Brown, Emily and Austan Gilmer; grandchildren, Ava Brown, Nora Brown, Arlo Gilmer; parents, Gary and Towana Brown; brother, Jason Brown.

A memorial service for Mr. Tommy Brown will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mike Flournoy and Reverend Daniel Daughtry officiating. Friends may visit the family following the service at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, however those desiring, in lieu of flowers can donate to Rock Springs Church, 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, Georgia 30257
