"Chief" Gary Layne McIntosh, age 63, of Barnesville, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was born September 30, 1949 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Mr. Clifford Robinson McIntosh and the late Mrs. Ellie Legg McIntosh. Mr. McIntosh was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Doris Hanes McIntosh. He retired from Lamar EMC as a meter reader, and most recently had worked at Deer Trail Country Club.

Survivors include: Wife-Patricia of Barnesville; 3 daughters -Stacey (& Tom) Vanderboom of Rincon, Wendy (& Brandt) Harvil of Bolingbroke, and Jodi (& Jason) Kidd of Barnesville; 6 Grandchildren-Gavin Lance, Lily Kidd, Peyton & Reece Harvil, and Anna & William Vanderboom; & a special nephew-Matt McIntosh.

Memorial services for "Chief" Gary McIntosh will be announced at a later date. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm.
