Mr. Gary Edward Thomas, age 71, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Gary was born on Sunday, May 21, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of the late Charlie Edward Thomas and Doris Elizabeth Johns. Gary loved motorcycles, and he enjoyed his upholstery work as well as working in the yard. He was a friend to many, and loved his family tremendously.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy Bailey Thomas; children, Leai Milam (Josh), Alison Thomas, and Brian Thomas; grandchildren, Alexis Crenshaw (Trey), Ashlyn Mabros, Austin Mabros (Amber), Cade Dickerson, Chase Thomas, Briella Milam, and Blaklee Milam; great grandchild, Charli Crenshaw; sisters, Brenda Fowler, and Joan Britt; brother, Doug Thomas (Dawn); and a host of extended family.

A funeral service for Mr. Gary Edward Thomas will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Sanctuary of Rock Springs Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. The family will greet friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service at the church.
