Dan Gary Williams, age 71, of Jackson, GA, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Gary was born on Thursday, September 23, 1943 in Forsyth, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey Tingle and Mayree Williams Tingle; wife, Carolyn Annette Knight Williams; brother, Ronald Tingle. He was a retired truck driver with Trucks Inc. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Falcons and NASCAR and spending time with his family. Gary attended Towaliga Baptist Church.

Gary is survived by his sons, David Russell Williams, and Jonathan Keith Williams; grandchildren, Brittany Williams, Dylan Robert Williams, Gaven Tyler Williams, Levi Broxton, Michael Patrick, Tiffany Patrick, and Curtis King; great-grandchildren Conner Denton, Caylee Denton, and Kayden Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Riley and Peggi Tingle; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Gary Williams will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
