Gary Sherman Wilson, age 85, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Gary was born Sunday, February 12, 1939, in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Curry Lee Wilson and the late Mazelle Powell Wilson. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his siblings, Doug, Lee, Sarah, and Connie.

Gary loved watching Westerns, especially the ones with John Wayne. He also enjoyed watching racing and spending time with the animals. Gary always piddled with things around the house and was always tinkering with something.

Gary is Survived by his wife, Marie Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Todd (Mendi) Wilson; son, Rod Wilson; grandchildren and their spouses, Rebecca (Ken) Basinger, Ryan (Jessica) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Chandler, Kinslee, Paislee; sister, Terry; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
