Mr. George Ogden Pippin, Jr., age 70, of Barnesville, formerly of Fayetteville passed away Monday, July 20th, 2015, at Sunny Grove Assisted Living Center.

Mr. Pippin was a native of Barnesville, born June 24, 1945, son of the late George Ogden, Sr. and Hattie White Pippin. He retired from Delta Airlines after 36 years, was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sister, Harriet Pippin of Atlanta and several cousins and their spouses, Jackson and Jackie Pippin, Sauney and Geraldine Pippin and Horace and Jane Pippin, all of the Red Bone Community, and Claudine White of Barnesville.

Graveside services for Mr. George Ogden Pippin, Jr. will be at 11:00 Thursday at the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Rex Allen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00 before the service.
