Mrs. Gladys Mae Lingold, age 79, of Barnesville passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. A native of McDuffie County, she had made her home in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. James M. Lingold and the late Mrs. Katie Odel White Lingold, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Doris Pruitt. Mrs. Lingold was Retired from Aldora Mills, where she was a Textile Worker. She was a member of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include: 3 Half-Sisters - Becky, Polly, & Neva ; 1 Niece - Mrs. Linda Wheeler of Barnesville ; 1 Great Nephew - Scotty Thomas ; a Cousin - Elise Wilson ; & a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Gladys Mae Lingold will be Private.
