Ms. Gladys A. Smith Ward, age 85, of Flovilla, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on Sunday, June 3, 1934, in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Willie Otis Smith and the late Ardell McDowell Smith. Gladys was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Cork, Georgia. She enjoyed going on walks and singing in her church choir. Gladys was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Bill Smith; sister, Mary Lois Shannon; and nephew, Willie Lee Shannon.

Gladys is survived by her sisters, Lottie Grier and Mable Price; brother, William Edward Smith; aunt, Marie Smith; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
