Mrs. Glenda Elaine Burkett Henderson, age 76, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Glenda was born on Monday, December 9, 1946, in Brewton, Alabama to the late Aaron Franklin Burkett and the late Winnona Ruth Reece Williams.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Pavalokas. Glenda was a member of Grace Baptist Church of McDonough. She enjoyed cooking, decorating her house, and shopping for jewelry. Most of all she loved her family.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herman Henderson; children and spouse, Donna and David Hall, Denise Henderson, Delaina Morris, Herman Henderson Jr., grandchildren, Christy McCart, Keith Hall, Michael McCart, Kevin Hall, Beth McCart, Katie Allen, Heather Morris, Chistopher McCart, Clay Henderson, Hannah Morris, Austin Henderson, Logan Morris; 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mrs. Glenda Henderson will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Tim Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
