Mrs. Gloria Patricia Watson Chaffin, age 72, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Chaffin was born in Thomaston, and was the daughter of the late Mr. Forrest Albert Watson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Doris Virginia Ritch Watson. She was also preceded in death by her biological father, Edgar Irvin Webb and her Husband, Charles H. Chaffin. She was a member of the Barnesville First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: Her Daughter – Jennie Chaffin Kelly of Jackson ; Her Son – Charles H. "Chuck" Chaffin, Jr. (& Pam) of Gilbert, AZ ; Her Half-Sister – Melba Johnson of Jacksonville, FL ; Her Half-Brother – Forrest Albert Watson, Jr. of Zebulon ; Five Grandchildren – Dusty Kelly (& Jon) Murray of Jackson, Lauren Kelly (& Josh) Little of Jackson, James H. (& Devene) Kelly, III of Jackson, Charles H. "Trey" Chaffin, III of Tuscaloosa, AL, & Steven Andrew "Drew" Chaffin of Gilbert, AZ ; & Two Great Grandchildren – Elyce Michelle Kelly of Jackson & Cruize Michael Murray of Jackson.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Gloria Watson Chaffin will be conducted Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 2 O'Clock in the Barnesville First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dana Overton-Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
