Mrs. Gloria Ruth Lewis Chamlee, age 68, of Flovilla, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Gloria was born on Friday, November 7, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Joe A. Lewis and the late Catherine Geraldine Bass Lewis. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Dustin Blake Chamlee, Todd Chamlee. She loved to cook and was formerly a caterer. She also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and girl's weekends. Gloria loved helping people. She did a lot for charity, including advocating for the rights of children with disabilities and formed the group called Share Group that helped children with disabilities and held special activities for them as well. Most of all she loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald Chamlee; children, Dawn Cates Hill, Kim Chamlee, Roni Lane; grandchildren, Barron, Michael, Sidney, McKensey, Mya, Katie, Jenna; sister, JoEllen Lewis-Dunson, nephew, Lewis Dunson.

A funeral service for Mrs. Gloria Chamlee will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Donnie Hamrick officiating. Friends may visit with the family Friday, July 9, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A private interment will follow.
