Mrs. Gwendolyn Ann Blackwell Thomas, age 63, of Covington, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Westbury Medical Care and Rehab. She was born on Thursday, September 9, 1954 in Decatur, Georgia to the late Donald Leroy Blackwell, Sr. and the late Betty Joan Engram Blackwell. Gwen was preceded in death by her nephew, Nathan Blackwell.

Gwen is survived by her children, Chris and Christy Robins, Steve Robins; siblings, Betty Entrekin, Donna Childs, Don Blackwell, Jr., Linda Davis ; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Jean; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends.

A graveside service for Mrs. Gwen Blackwell Thomas will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain with Mr. James Stone officiating. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com
