Mrs. Helen Boatright Cook, age 66, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Mrs. Cook was born on Monday, September 6, 1948 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Mathis Isiah Boatright and the late Alice Marcellus Bridges Boatright. Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Boatright. She was raised in Norcross, Georgia where she graduated from high school. Helen retired from Southeastern Stages. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband of 47 years, Van Cook; children and their spouses, Andrea Cook, Monica Lott, Jeremy Cook and Heather, Jeff Cook and Nicole, Lindsey Peavy and Justin; grandchildren, Marissa, Lissa, Katie, Jacob, Karris, Brandon, Zakk, Steavy, Tatum, Nevada, Dakota and Shawnee; sister and brother-in-law, Merle and William Lewis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Cook will be conducted on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mitchell Thomason officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery.
