Ms. Helen Joyce Ingram, age 77, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Helen was born on Sunday, June 26, 1949, in Griffin, Georgia to the late George Emory Ingram and the late Lexie Nona James Ingram. She is preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Bohannon; brothers, George Emerson Ingram, Joseph Eugene Ingram, and James Carlton “Bugs” Ingram. She was a member of Worthville Baptist Church. Helen enjoyed working on word puzzles. She also liked to cook and watch tv, especially cooking shows. Helen loved caring for her family. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Gay; brothers, Olin Ingram and Richard Ingram; chihuahua dachshunds, Bonnie & Clyde; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Ms. Helen Ingram will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kevin Farmer officiating. Interment will follow at Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
