Ms. Helen Lucille Bethune Martin, age 93, of Milner, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

Helen was born on Saturday, March 14, 1931, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Thomas Clarence Bethune and Flora Inez Whatley Bethune. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Martin; son, Thomas Eugene Martin; and brother, Howell Bethune.

Helen was the owner/operator of The Country Kitchen in Barnesville, Georgia for 32 years. She enjoyed quilting and loved flowers and gardening. Helen was always most happy when she was cooking or feeding people and loved having family gatherings. She loved her children and family very dearly and she will be missed.

Helen is survived by her children and their spouses; Jack (Beverly) Martin, Alice (Bob) Beauchamp, Mitchell Martin, Anita (Bruce) Carter; Grandchildren, Robby, Jennifer, Adam, Jackson, Jamie, Ben, Allen, Thayer, Caity; and several great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Helen Lucille Martin will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home, with Chip Garrison officiating. Friends may visit with family, one hour prior to the service.
