Henry Harrison Copeland, of Jackson, GA, died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 11, 1942 in McDonough, GA to the late Lemmie Henry Copeland and the late Martha Pauline Strickland Copeland. Henry enjoyed driving his wrecker, restoring cars, fishing, watching westerns on TV. He loved listening to gospel music and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers. Mr. Copeland is survived by 2 daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Ferrell, of Columbus, Patti Copeland, of Barnesville; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Tonya Martin, Robert and Tracie Copeland, and Chris Strickland, all of Jackson; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Jim Barnes, of Jackson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Henry Copeland will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, October 15, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gene Sellers officiating. Interment will be at Towaliga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday evening.
