Mr. Henry Wesley Evans, Sr., age 74, of Riverdale, GA, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born on June 8, 1941 in Stockbridge, GA to the late Cona B. Evans and the late Becky Lucille Reagan Evans. Henry was a salesman for Northwest Exterminating Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Lee Simpson Evans, and a daughter, Bonnie Sue Evans.

Henry is survived by his children, Geneva Evans, Henry Wesley Evans, Jr. and Sherry, Judy Delzell and Glenn, Mandy Evans; grandchildren, Tonya Breeding, Crystal Simmons, Patricia Evans, Jennifer Wallace, Lori Evans Sharon Evans, Daniel White, Ricky Hammett, Donald White, Wesley Evans, Cari Hammett; 32 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; brother, Robert Evans; sisters, Mamie Young, Dorothy Ray, Anna Mae Higgins, and Mary Lou Pritchett; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Henry Evans, Sr. will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Terrell Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park. The family will receive friends at his residence after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, January 5, 2016. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
