Mr. Henry “Hank” Grant Stone, age 88, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Hank was born on Friday, December 3, 1937, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to the late Franklin Griffith Stone and the late Julia Treese Stone. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne Lee Stone. Hank served in the United States Army and was a member of Jackson United Methodist Church. Hank liked history and was a member of the Butts County Historical Society as well as the Masonic Lodge. He liked visiting state parks and historical sites and some of his favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, reading, and gardening. Hank was a Braves and Pirates baseball fan. He will be dearly missed.

Hank is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Dawn Stone; grandsons, Judah Stone, Jedidiah Stone; brother, Franklin Stone, several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A funeral for Mr. Hank Stone will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Pamela Johnston officiating. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at 2:00 P.M. at College Park Cemetery, 3600 Adams Street, College Park, GA 30337.
