Mr. Hugh Harding Kiser, age 90, of Milner passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 in a Barnesville Healthcare Facility. He was born in Lincolnton, North Carolina to the late Mr. Edward Kiser and to the late Mrs. Callie Bell Huffman Kiser. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Florrie Bell Kiser, and by his son, Mr. Thomas Kiser. Mr. Kiser was the youngest of 9 siblings, all of which, preceded him in death. He was Retired as the Owner and Candy Maker for "Kiser's Candy" in Milner. Mr. Kiser was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He was a member of the Milner United Methodist Church.

Survivors include; 1 Daughter – Emily Sue Basch (& John) of Griffin ; 1 Grandchild - Krissa Jones (& John) of Milner ; 2 Great Grandchildren - Brieanna & Katherine Jones of Milner; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Hugh Kiser will be conducted Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 2 O'Clock in the Milner United Methodist Church with the Rev John Norman officiating. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday Evening, April 6, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm.
